Another teacher of English.
This is Susana, we met
one afternoon in the foyer
of a company where we
both have students.
This is her teaching me
the swear words and
phrases in Spanish.
We have a lot of fun
hanging out in the city
when we don't have classes.
My summer wardrobe has
improved considerably thanks
to her and her visible and vocal horror at seeing some of the clothing and shoe combinations i've been using.

ReplyDeleteFinally managed to catch up on your more recent adventures. Love your tales of the poor and homeless --- very beautiful and moving without being Hollywood melodramatic. You should make them into a cartoneros book. It's uber-awesome that you're out there taking the world by storm! (But be careful in those kiddie bike trailers!)

sister, i am so late in a reply. that's a good idea, i was just talking to Alejandro, one of the dudes that works there, if i wrote something and they liked it, i would give the story to them for them to do whatever they see fit with it....hopefully not burn it...and i have already got one done! great thinking 99! but when i get back, i'd like us to get together and develop something like what they are doing for Dunedin..the NZ chapter.
